Stephen brings almost two decades of healthcare experience to Connance, which he co-founded in 2007. Stephen was Chief Financial Officer of Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: THC) and was responsible for the sweeping restructuring of that company's revenue cycle operation. Prior to Tenet, Stephen worked as a healthcare-specialized investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette and J.P. Morgan. Stephen holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of Business and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
Steven is a co-founder of Connance, following a nearly two-decade career as a management consultant with Monitor Group, an international management consulting firm. At Monitor, Steven was a Senior Partner and worked extensively in healthcare. Among Steven's experience was acting as senior advisor to Tenet's revenue cycle restructuring. Steven holds a B.A. in Engineering Sciences from Dartmouth College and a Master in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
Bill Barrett has over 20 years of experience as General Counsel for companies in the healthcare industry, which he brings to Connance as co-founder and General Counsel. In his early law career, Bill specialized in real estate counsel and business transactions for hospitals. He worked in theTenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: THC) legal department, rising to SVP and Assistant General Counsel. Bill co-founded InteCare, LLC, a health care company designed to help not-for-profit health care providers monetize unrealized equity through joint ventures. Bill holds a J.D. from University of Santa Clara School of Law. He was Articles Editor for the Santa Clara Law Review and a member of Honors Moot Court Board.
David brings over 15 years of consulting experience to Connance, which he co-founded. Previously a Partner at Monitor Group, David's practice included substantial consumer data analytics and enterprise economics. David holds a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School and a B.A.S. from the School of Engineering of the University of Pennsylvania.
Tsipora leads Connance’s marketing and communications efforts, bringing over twenty years of marketing experience to Connance, including work in healthcare, IT services and IT hardware. Prior to joining Connance, Tsipora was head of worldwide marketing for BluePhoenix Solutions, a global provider of software solutions and services for software modernization. In addition, Tsipora was part of executive management teams at Keyware, an IT security solutions company, at Lernout & Hauspie, a global leader in speech and language technologies, and a marketing manager at Scitex, a digital printing enterprise. Tsipora is a graduate of Tel Aviv University and Stanford University Executive Education Program.
Patrick brings over 17 years of technology experience to Connance. Previously, Patrick was Chief Architect for Unica Corporation (NASDAQ:UNCA), a leading provider of enterprise marketing management software, where he was instrumental in leading and driving technical designs across Unica's Affinium product suite. Prior to Unica, Patrick served as the Chief Technical Officer at Verbind Inc. and in various software architecture and lead technical roles at Kana Communications, Sun Microsystems, and Systems Research and Applications Corporation. Patrick holds a BSE in Computer Science and a BA in Linguistics from the University of Pennsylvania.
John heads Connance's sales effort, bringing almost two decades of sales and business development experience. Prior to joining Connance, John led the business development efforts at CARVAL Investors, and spearheaded several of the largest healthcare receivable transactions in the industry's history. Previously, John headed sales and marketing for Search America. John holds a B.A. from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from Monterey Institute of International Studies.
Roy and his team work with clients to implement Connance's solutions—optimizing those solutions to the client's specific setting and supporting long-term performance improvement. Roy brings 15 years of experience to Connance, having previously held leadership positions with Perot Systems in their consulting and applications-solutions division in Bangalore, India, with Monitor Group in their worldwide operations and U.S. Healthcare practices, and with General Motors in their product design division. Roy holds a BSME from Kettering University in Michigan and an MSME from Stanford University.
